Vice President of IT, Quality and Continuous Improvement
John is responsible for oversight of all development and support initiatives for the company’s proprietary Compass information management system. He also manages overall Human Arc product and service quality and continuous improvement efforts for both the provider and payer sides of the business. His teams ensure day-to-day quality of operations and also identify and lead continuous improvement projects enabling enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
Since joining Human Arc in 2002, John has held numerous roles. Prior to his present directorial role, he had sales and profit responsibilities for the firm’s Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP) efforts on behalf of Ohio clients. In addition, he managed Human Arc’s customer service center and data mining operations. Throughout his years of service, John’s vast experience has helped Human Arc implement many quality control improvements in compliance with all agencies’ regulatory and data reporting requirements.
Before joining Human Arc, John spent 10 years at FMC Corporation in various management positions in engineering, product management, sales, service and manufacturing, preceded by five years of process engineering work with the Timken Company.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a doctoral degree in operations management and statistics from Cleveland State University.
